I'm not experienced in the blog realm, however, the gist of it is like writing in one's daily journal or diary, right? And what does one do when writing to their journal/diary or whatever the hell you want to call it? They reveal secrets, they vent steam, and they ramble about things that bounce around inside their skulls. This will be no different. This is going to be my sounding board, my confidant, and my audience all rolled into one and I welcome responses, criticisms, and general ballyhoo and bullshit from anyone and everyone who kindly takes the time to stop by and check this place out.
Now, let me lay my ground rules out for responses and posting replies here. I don't care about profanity, but use it in context with the conversations on my blog, okay? What I mean by that is, if you have a response to something that you feel strongly about, then by all means express yourself. However, if you post something like,"You're fucking stupid" and leave it at that without expounding on your statement, DON'T DO IT. I will delete it from the thread within a couple of hours. I work from home as a consultant, and I have the liberty of being able to check my blog while working. Ha ha! This is fun...
Basically, all that I ask is be reasonable with your reply, make sense or at least be able to back up responses with facts when required or with proof otherwise. Many of the things here will be about subject matter that can be verified or quantified with data from other sources. I'm not going to make this first blog entry lengthy, if I can help it, so as situations arise, I will address them for all to see. If you have a private matter to discuss, note that in a thread and I can be reached at my e-mail address upon request. Not that I expect anyone to want to go that route, since these aren't supposed to be enlightening. Okay, I'm getting off on a tangent here...
You can reply to anything and everything, but don't be scared of some verbal confrontation if a stupid remark gets posted. I am not afraid to call a spade a spade...you post stupidity and I'll let you know.
